This material is new off the roll, increment of 50”wide, 24 oz/sq. yd. Advantex® woven roving fiberglass from Owens Corning.
Owens Corning Advantex® glass offers superior performance in composites facing corrosive environments when compared to E-glass. Advantex® solution offers the unique attributes of being both a boron-free E-glass, and an E-CR glass reinforcement.
Fiberglass roving is coarsely woven and commonly used for fast buildup in applications where cost savings is a factor. Best for use with flat or only gently contoured surfaces.
